Because of their rugged,
corrosion-resistant construction and basic simplicity, these Piston
Type, Pressure Regulators are ideal for applications involving
chemical/petrochemical plants, refineries, gas processing, purge
systems, offshore drilling, and all general compressed gas systems.
Perma-Cal's Model 62 and 64 series pressure reducing regulators have a
unique "deep seat" design which creates a balanced valving action,
promotes positive
sealing, self compensates for wear and virtually eliminates leakage over
the entire operating life of the regulator.
Standard wetted parts are 316 stainless steel or 6061 aluminum with
Kel-F or Teflon seat material and VitonTM
or Buna-N seals.
Five (5) adjustable regulated outlet ranges are available: 15-250 PSIG,
25-500 PSIG, 50-1000 PSIG, 100-3000 PSIG and 250-5000 PSIG. Maximum
inlet pressures up to 6,000 PSIG are possible with a 316 stainless steel
body ( 3,000 PSIG with an aluminum body ). Except for the 6,000 psig
inlet model, the minimum burst pressure is 3,000 psig or 4 times the
maximum inlet pressure whichever is greater. For the 6,000 psig inlet
model, the minimum burst pressure is 15,000 psig.
