| THE DIRECT DRIVE
DIFFERENCE Only ONE Moving Part!
|
How long
should a pressure gauge last?
Do your operators trust your gauges?
Do wrong readings compromise operator safety, waste labor time and
lower your production efficiency?
At BC Group we stand behind your
DIRECT DRIVE pressure gauges. We make sure you can rely on
your gauges. Start by eliminating all the parts that make a
gauge just a gauge, and then we add our know-how to make it work
long term in your application.
At BC Group we make the assumption that
you want your gauges to read right, even after you've used them!

A DETAILED COMPARISON -
Direct Drive Bourdon Tube vs. "C" Bourdon Tube |
|
The Direct Drive Coil has
only
ONE MOVING PART!
There is no linkage
assembly and no gears.
|
|
The linkage assembly is
responsible for when you shut down and your gauge does not return to
zero but rather settles down to 20 or 30% of scale. "Say,
didn't you buy a 1% gauge, not a 20 or 30% gauge?" |
The Sector Gear is
responsible for when you shut down but the needle doesn't move because
it is stuck.
|
|
ONLY
ONE moving part. In the days when you repaired gauges, you were
familiar with sector gears and linkage. We have no linkages or gears,
they are not used in our gauges. Today you just throw those old
style gauges away and keep wasting money on new ones. Our gauges
work day in and day out under heavy pulsation, high vibration and also
up to 150% over-scaling.
|
|
You'll
find a wide range of case styles from 2.5" to 8.5" dials and
ranges from -30"Hg - 0 -15 psi up to 0-15,000 psi as well as compound
and vacuum scales. For high visibility in the field, colored cases
are available. Need a max-hand pointer, no problem. Panel
mounted, wall mounted, no problem. |
|
 |
Gauge replacements cost
you the most when you use a diaphragm seal. When the gauge fails
the entire assembly is replaced.
We know what questions to ask to make sure they work right. The
long-life and low internal volume of our gauges,
together with our customer service make BC
Group your best choice for sealed gauges. |
|
Save
REALLY BIG by using our high quality mini-seal. It can save a
great deal of money on your 1/4", 1/2" or 3/4" NPT connections in
316 SS, Hast-C, Hast-B or Monel applications.
We also have a 1" NPT male connection with a flush mounted diaphragm for
your clogging applications.
Whatever your measurement conditions, just give us a quick call with the
details and we'll make sure we provide you with a seal that does the job
right. |
