Type P36 Preset Regulator
The Type P36 Preset Tamper Resistant Precision Gas Pressure Regulator
is a reliable fixed output precision unit for liquefied petroleum gas
applications where a precise control of flow is needed. The P36 is preset
at the factory, based upon the users input and output requirements. Test
data for the Type P36 regulator shows excellent performance
characteristics compared with those of similar units presently on the
market. This regulator is generally superior in regulated pressure vs.
flow, supply pressure sensitivity, repeatability and stability. Ruggedly
designed and constructed, this regulator has a die-cast aluminum housing,
and is finished with vinyl paint (which resists scratching, weathering and
other physical abuse). It is then pressure and leak tested prior to
shipment from the factory.
Careful design and quality materials throughout assure long,
trouble-free operation in the most difficult industrial environments. A
rubberized, soft-seat valve stem provides positive shut-off and "forgives"
dirt or other foreign matter. An aspirator maintains downstream pressure
and compensates for droop when high flow occurs. The full flow gauge port
is convenient for gauge installation and can also be used as an additional
full flow outlet. The P36 is equipped with a tamper resistant bonnet
assembly that prevents inadvertent field adjustment. Maximum supply
pressure is 250 psi. Output pressure ranges available are 0-20 psi, 20-40
psi, and 40-60 psi.
The Type P36 regulator has a 60-mesh 304 stainless steel screen to
block foreign particles from entering the output stream, in addition the
Type P36 is a tamperproof regulator. The unit is bubble tight,
non-relieving, and has been listed with UL, AGA, and CGA.
