Use these 100W platinum RTD probes with our thermometers shown on previous screens. These probes also fit the RTD temperature controllers. All probes feature a three-pin connector. Use the 24 - gauge extension cables sold separately, for remote measuring.

Maximum error for probe assembly is ±0.94°C or ±0.2% of reading. Alpha coefficient is 0.003850 W/W°C (DIN IEC 751). Resistance at ice point (0°C) is 100W. Each probe has a characteristic time constant; five time constants are needed to reach 99% of final reading. Integral-handle probes include 5-ft PVC coiled cable and 5-1/2" L glass-filled nylon handle.

High accuracy RTD probes

For applications where accuracy is critical try one of our new high accuracy RTD probes. Choose from two accuracies ±0.015% of reading +0.1°C with our stripped end probe or ±0.02% of reading +0.1°C for all other probes. All probes feature a ten second time constant , alpha coefficient of 0.0385, a 12" long 1/4" dia 316 SS sheath, and one - meter long cable.

Industrial RTD probes
Maximum errors for probe assemblies are ±1.1°C for three - wire bendable - sheath probes, ±0.7°C for compact probes, and ±0.12% of reading from -50 to 500°C fro bolt on probes. Alpha coefficient is 0.00385W/W/°C (IEC751). Resistance at ice point (0°C) is 100W. Maximum temperature for continuous use is 900°F (482°C); maximum temperature for bolt on probe is 932°F(500°C)

Each probe has a characteristic (response time). Five time constants are needed to reach 99% of final reading. For example, a probe with a time constant of 5 seconds reaches its final reading in about 25 seconds. See individual product descriptions for the time constant of each probe.
